          HISTORY          

Guy Newton was a young scientist who made a suit with which he was able to master the electromagnetic force. Calling himself Volton the Human Generator, Guy offered his services to the police, but they thought he was insane. When they tried to lock him up, Volton unleashed his power to free himself, intimidating the agents and the commissioner himself. After this incident, Guy had to work hard to gain the trust of the forces of law and order, which he eventually did. Enlisting in the Battle Squadron during World War II had a lot to do with it.

Volton's suit grants him near total control of electromagnetism. This translates into, for example, the ability to absorb electricity, magnetize both people and objects, super strength, flight, emit lightning bolts, create electromagnetic force shields or electrify his own body.
