Prince Zardi of the inter-dimensional kingdom of Zandipore, known as Zardi the Eternal, has lived a long and busy life of more than twelve thousand years: He visited the gardens of Babylon, he was there while the Pyramids of Egypt were being built, he witnessed when the Red Sea split in two, and walked alongside Prince Siddhartha, among many other things. In addition to being a tireless traveler and a student, practitioner and great connoisseur of arcane knowledge, Zardi became a protector of those in need, determined to make good triumph over the forces of evil. For this he has the help of his faithful servant Nogi. During World War II, Zardi joined the Battle Squadron. Zardi has a daughter, Zaza, who inherited her magical abilities and traveled to Earth-164B to join the Crime Smashers.
