          HISTORY          

The Iron Skull was originally private Karl Burgess, who was seriously injured during World War II. Dr. Gilman worked to replace his meat and bones with synthetic components. However his face was beyond any surgery... An iron helmet was forged to hide his skull face. The cyborg decided to use his abilities to fight the Nazis and later crime as The Iron Skull.
